I experimented the other day with doing a video blog (which is now called a vlog) just to see how it turned out. If you haven't seen it then please follow this link and have a look at it. The theme was around Legacy, asking the question "what legacy are we leaving behind?"
The day I filmed it was the anniversary of Neil Armstrongs moon landing, which will forever be associated with these words:
"One small step for man; one giant leap for mankind!"
Jesus has also left us an incredible legacy - the legacy of his love and mercy. The challenge is for us to follow in his footsteps and to leave a legacy of grace.
What do you think about legacy?

P.S. - If you have 2 minutes to give me some feedback on the vlog please let me know your thoughts. Thanks.

Thank you Delme
Some food for thought!
Thanks for all the comments friends. God bless
Hi Delme
I like the vlog - nice to see you in person (albeit on screen) again.

PS: Apart from the legacy message, it also reminded me of the debate over whether Armstrong said "one small step for a man" or "one small step for Man" - he maintained that he said the former, but the audio is inconclusive, and it was always reported as the latter. Both are good, but the former is touchingly humble, I think.
PPS: Talking about legacy, I know you are a great reader. I am just about finished with reading Chernow's biography of Alexander Hamilton. Quite a story - if it was fiction it would be considered really far-fetched - and a magnificent legacy. He was undoubtedly a genius, though flawed. Lots of food for thought.

Thanks for the message Dave - Yes, when I was preparing for the vlog I read the discussion around the exact words from Neil Armstrong. Even he agreed that it didn't come through on the audio what he said, but the fact that he intended to say "a small step for a man" is a mark of humility. Of course, we won't even get into the conspiracy theories about whether they were even on the moon :)
Take care and love to Lindi
