The song of David speaks into the Great Love that God has for humanity. The key verse for me in Psalm 5 is verse 7 because it reminds me of the great invitation that we all are given. We are invited into the house of God, not because of our status or holiness, but only BY GOD'S GREAT LOVE.
"But I, by your great love,
can come into your house;
in reverence I bow down toward your holy temple." - Psalm 5:7
Our God is generous and hospitable.
"Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends." - John 15:13
