Turn back time!

At midnight tonight (24th) the clocks will go back another hour in Europe - so if you have family overseas they will be two hours behind us in South Africa. I know that South Africans have debated the idea of having 'daylight saving', especially in the Summer months, but that will probably never happen - the idea is too logical for our government!

Anyway, I was just thinking about the concept of 'turning the clocks back' and wondering how often we wish we could do the same. Haven't we all had a moment where we long to go back and fix something or take back some harsh words - I know I sometimes wish that I could go back.

In the end we know that we can't 'go back', but thankfully we have a God who has redeemed us and who gladly gives us a 2nd chance. His Grace gives us the chance to make things right.

"Whatever is has already been,
and what will be has been before;
and God will call the past to account."
- Ecclesiastes 3:15
