Death of another Singer

Stephen Gately died today. News of his death is slowly spreading around the world - no one knows for sure how it happened, but his voice has been snuffed out.

Whatever we feel about Stephen as a person and as a musician is a matter of opinion. The reality is that another young musician (he was 33) died today. Whilst the music world mourns his death and many of his family, friends and fans ask 'why' - we should allow the news to serve as another clear reminder ... Life is short; Life is a mist; Life is fragile. Why are we putting off doing the important things in our lives until later? We may never get that chance.

Another man died at age 33. His death was more public and traumatic than anything seen before. He was also loved in some quarters and hated in others. His family, friends and fans also grieved his passing - many also asked 'why?' His name? Jesus of Nazareth.

Whilst one never knows how long people will remember Stephen Gately's music, people are still singing Jesus' song of 'Love', 'Grace' and 'Forgiveness.' 2000 years is a long time to be remembered. Remember to honour Christ with your life, today!

"Choose Life!" - Deuteronomy 30:19

Grace to you,
D3LM3
