"Grace me ...."
I am sure a few of us included words like - "Grace me .... with your presence"
OR "Grace me ....with your attention/time."
I find it interesting that when Eugene Peterson reflects on Psalm 4:1, he doesn't even bother finishing the sentence - he leaves it as it is.
When I call, give me answers. God, take my side!
Once, in a tight place, you gave me room;
Now I’m in trouble again: grace me! hear me!
As I re-read the verse I am struck by the fact that the two words "GRACE ME" make enough sense on their own. The speak loudly to me today. What about you?
