Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.
No matter what version you read of this verse, it conveys the same message - sometimes we just need to keep a firm grip on to the promises of God. Whatever you are facing today, hold onto the important promises of God. He is faithful to keep up his end of the bargain.
