"We are not human beings on a spiritual journey. We are spiritual beings on a human journey."
These insightful words from Stephen Covey give us a new perspective on our lives. God has breathed life into our mortal frames and we get to live on earth for a number of years. However, when our human journey comes to an end, we believe that Jesus offers us the chance to continue our journey with Him - 'spiritual beings on a new journey!'
Is this why Jesus challenged Nicodemus to be born again (John 3)? Firstly, we comprehend that we are spiritual beings born in flesh. Secondly, we need to choose to align our spiritual lives with God - spiritual beings choosing to live in eternity with our Saviour?
