Father, Forgive them
What is the hardest part of forgiveness for you?
Which do you find harder to forgive - the harsh words or the actions of others?
Jesus sets before us an extremely hard example, when he utters the words from the cross,
"Father, Forgive them, for they don't know what they are doing!"
He was choosing to take the sins of everyone upon himself and was pleading for the Father to have mercy on the very people who were destroying him. That is a tough act to follow.
Who are we needing to forgive today?
Do we have the courage to forgive?
Live in the shadow of His grace,
