Just say NO!

How good are you at saying No? I haven't been that great in the past, but I am learning to be at peace about saying 'No' when I need to. I read a brilliant post by Chris Brogan on this topic the other day - read it if you have a moment, but remember you don't have to!

Jesus knew how to say No - for his own sanity he had to learn the art very quickly. A million voices demanding a million things. Jesus was never unkind or rude when he said 'No' to the demands of people. He knew that he was going to be ministering to them in the best possible way, but it had to be on his terms. Jesus focused first on saying 'Yes' to the right things...spending time in prayer, worship and discipleship.

In this busy (or silly) season, may God give us the freedom to say 'No' in a way that glorifies Him. Say 'Yes' to the right things.
