Is this your idea of being a King?

The Witness today carries this story,
"Zulu King Goodwill Zwelithini wants the KwaZulu-Natal government to ensure that his portraits are displayed in public areas such as stadiums and airports before the 2010Fifa World Cup begins...."

This is so far from the image of Kingship that Jesus displays. Jesus would never demand that His portrait even be painted, let alone displayed in arrogance. What's your take on this?

"He grew up before him like a tender shoot,
and like a root out of dry ground.
He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him,
nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.

He was despised and rejected by men,
a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering.
Like one from whom men hide their faces
he was despised, and we esteemed him not." - Isaiah 53:2-3
