One step away

I think this quote sums up the incredible grace of God. I know that some of us battle to see God as a loving parent, but I believe that God delights in us, as his children. If we walk away, this breaks the heart of God; however if we take that one step back, God welcomes us home.

Romans 3:27 - God does not respond to what we do; we respond to what God does. We’ve finally figured it out. Our lives get in step with God and all others by letting him set the pace, not by proudly or anxiously trying to run the parade. (MSG)
