Our minds can often run away with all kinds of weird thoughts - sometimes these can take us away from the presence and peace of Christ. St. Paul encourages us to think about some good things - these that would draw us back into the 'life-giving' presence of Jesus.
Philippians 4: 8 – “Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse.”
As you read this scripture, what thoughts are you hoping will fill your mind? Let's ask the Spirit to foster these godly thoughts and not negative ones.
Be blessed this weekend.
