I use a range of different material for my daily devotions. It usually ranges from Our Daily Bread, FFDL (Faith for Daily Living) and a few other online devotions. Today's reading from FFDL was very meaningful for me and I think it is well worth repeating.
"Lord, have mercy on us. We have put our hope in you." - Isaiah 33:2 (GNB)
In the New International Version it says...
"O Lord, be gracious to us; we long for you.
Be our strength every morning, our salvation in time of distress."
