What gives you hope? Is it when you hear someone say 'I'm sorry!" or when you notice the sunrise? Do you feel hope rise within you when you see different generations laughing together or people of different backgrounds living alongside each other? Are you filled with hope when you watch an inspiring movie or listen to a moving song?
Peter reminds us that, through Jesus Christ, we can expect a 'Living Hope' - a clear and tangible hope in the present - not just when we leave this earth. In my opinion the world needs as much of this hope as we can get!
1 Peter 1:3 – “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead...”
Don't lose HOPE - hang unto the promise of God's Grace.
