“We
never know how God will answer our prayers, but we can expect that He will get
us involved in His plan for the answer. If we are true intercessors, we must be
ready to take part in God’s work on behalf of the people for whom we pray.” -Corrie ten Boom
When we are invited to pray for someone or something, we are not called to be a casual by-stander, but rather to play an active role on the life of another. We will probably not be able to change the circumstances of that person, but we could well be called upon to partner God in helping them out.
When you pray for someone today, listen to the prompting of the Spirit as God may give you fresh insight into that situation or person's life. Believe that God wants to be involved and that your prayers are making a difference.
James 5:16 - Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.
