Advent word - HOPE

We live in a world of lots of pain. Many of us have suffered heartache and loss. For some of us, Christmas will not be a time of great peace, love or even joy. If you find yourself in this situation this Christmas, please can I ask you to hold onto one word - it is the word HOPE.

Hope offers us the possibility that tomorrow will be better.
Hope enables us to believe that God is listening.
Hope reminds us that Jesus came into the world for each one of us.
Hope reaches into the dark corners of our souls.
Hope is food for today.
Matthew 12:21- "In his name the nations will put their hope.”
Romans 5:2 -  "And we boast in the hope of the glory of God."

May your hope rest in Jesus.
