You have got to love the language of kids. Josh was explaining something to me today and was trying to tell me how 'wide' his fort was, but he instead he used the word 'fat'. I gently tried to correct him, but it did make me chuckle. I thought of the passage in Ephesians that speaks of the height, width and depth of God's love and if we inserted the word 'fatness' into this scripture, it would
make interesting reading:
Ephesians 3:16-19
"I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide (FAT) and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God."
I thank God that he is so 'Fat', awesome and incredible. His love is so wide it covers every area of our lives.
