Choose

Voting in our municipal elections obviously involves a choice. We may feel that our vote counts or we may feel 'what's the point?' In truth, we vote because we hope our voice will be heard.

When we choose to follow God, we are obviously also making a choice. This time we vote (choose) for God, knowing that God hears our voice. As soon as we mark ourselves as members of God's team we believe that, together with God, we can make a difference.

So, I encourage you to vote twice on the 18th May. Firstly, for your choice of political party, but more importantly, choose to be on God's team again.

Joshua 24:15 - "...then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve."
