Waiting on God

Most of us are not so good waiting, let alone waiting for the Lord to speak to us. It can seem like a long time of silence, when God is working in the background, but we need to trust in his timing.

“Waiting for God is not laziness. Waiting for God is not going to sleep. Waiting for God is not the abandonment of effort.  Waiting for God means, first, activity under command; second, readiness for any new command that may come; third, the ability to do nothing until the command is given.” - G. Campbell Morgan

·     Isaiah 64:4 - For since the world began, no ear has heard and no eye has seen a God like you, who works for those who wait for him!

As the week unfolds, may the Lord speak to you and may we be blessed with the gift of patience.
