Numbers - 2 brave men

Has someone ever inspired you to move beyond your comfort zone and when you have done this remarkable thing, you found yourself feeling grateful for that "nudge"?

In the book of Numbers we come across 2 remarkable young men - Joshua and Caleb. Along with 10 other spies they entered the Promised Land to have a look at the layout of the land and then to report back to Moses and Aaron. However, they the time came for the report back, the 10 spies were afraid of the Giants in the land and urged that the Israelites stay put. However, this was not what Joshua and Caleb felt. These are their words to the leaders:

"Two of the men who had explored the land, Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh, tore their clothing. They said to all the people of Israel, “The land we traveled through and explored is a wonderful land! And if the Lord is pleased with us, he will bring us safely into that land and give it to us. It is a rich land flowing with milk and honey. Do not rebel against the Lord, and don’t be afraid of the people of the land. They are only helpless prey to us! They have no protection, but the Lord is with us! Don’t be afraid of them!” - Numbers 14:6-10
