Renew my will

The simplest prayers are often the best. When Charlotte Elliot wrote these lines for her prayer, little did she know that they would carry so much challenge and depth to them.

"Renew my will from day to day,
Blend it with Thine, and take away
All that now makes it hard to say,
Thy will be done."

We say the words of the Lord's prayer so often that we can easily forget the meaning of the words:
"Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done!"

Mark 3:35 - "The person who obeys God’s will is my brother and sister and mother.”
