Waiting

As I have said before - I don't do 'waiting' very well.
I love what Phillips Brooks says: "The trouble is that I am in a hurry, but God isn't!"

However, it is clear that there were many people in the Bible who had to wait to receive something special.

-Abraham waited 100 years before he was given a son (Hebrews 6:15)
-The Israelites waited 40 years to enter the promised land (Exodus)
-Simeon waited his whole life to see the Messiah (Luke 2)
-The disciples had to wait for the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:4)

I guess it may well be true that "All good things come to those who wait!"
