God, be my Vision

I haven't made any resolutions for 2011 yet. I plan to spend a few days praying about what God wants from me this year, but what I truly seek is to honour God in all I do. I hope that the words of this powerful 6th Century Irish song will be my starting place.

"Be thou my vision, O Lord of my heart,
naught be all else to me, save that thou art;
Thou my best thought by day or by night,
Waking or sleeping, thy presence my light."

May God be your Vision and focus in 2011.
