To give and not count the cost
to fight, and not to heed the wounds,
to toil, and not to seek for rest,
to labour, and not to ask for any reward,
save that of knowing that we do thy will” - Ignatius of Loyola
This Easter has been another reminder of how Jesus gave of himself completely for us. He worked for our salvation and sought no rest. He laid everything down, so that we could be reunited with the Father.
1 John 3:16 - This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.
